WHERE THIS CAME FROM

For more than two decades, I’ve been designing and building digital products that power real businesses. My career began in agency environments and product companies, where I worked across industries including healthcare, education, legal, and marketing. Over time, I moved deeper into enterprise SaaS, eventually leading UX initiatives for large-scale platforms used by global organizations.

Most recently I was a Principal UX Designer at Oracle, working on systems used by thousands of people across dozens of countries — hotels, marketing teams, sales organizations. The work was complicated. One confusing screen meant a support queue and a lost afternoon for a lot of people at once. My job was making complicated things behave simply.

But over the years, something became clear: the same clarity and systems thinking that help large enterprises thrive can have an even greater impact on small businesses. Local service companies don’t need massive software suites — they need practical systems that answer calls, capture leads, and follow up consistently. They need reliability, responsiveness, and structure.

I Build Every Website Myself

Not a template you fill in. Not an offshore team. Not a junior handed a brief.

You tell me about your business, I build the site, and I send it to you — usually within a couple of days. If it isn't right, I fix it. If you don't want it, you don't pay and we shake hands.

It's also why I don't take fifty of these at a time. It's me doing the work, so the number I can build in a given week is a real number.

Why the Website Is Free

Fair question, and the answer is straightforward.

A website by itself doesn't do much. It sits there. It doesn't answer the phone, it doesn't follow up, it doesn't ask for reviews. Plenty of businesses have paid three to five thousand dollars for one and gotten nothing back.

So I'd rather build the site for nothing and earn the monthly fee by running the system that makes it useful — the text-backs, the review requests, the lead capture. If that system doesn't do anything for you, cancel and keep your domain.

That arrangement only works if the site is genuinely good and the system genuinely works. Which is the point.

Why I Started Modus Flows

Modus Flows is that idea put into practice. I'm applying everything I've learned about enterprise UX, automation, and AI-driven workflows to help small and local businesses operate with the same level of sophistication as large organizations — without the complexity. My focus is simple: build clean, dependable systems that work end-to-end, reduce friction, and help businesses grow.

This next chapter feels more personal. Instead of designing for global departments inside Fortune-level organizations, I’m building tools and automation that directly support business owners in their communities. It’s still systems design — just closer to home, and built for real-world impact.
